Description#
Short (< 50 words)
A cozy Metroidvania dungeon crawler where the goal isn’t glory — it’s a full cart. Explore handcrafted dungeons, outwit loot-hungry creatures, unlock tools to reach deeper areas, and make it back to town before the goblins get to your cart first.
Long
Overlooted is an indie dungeon crawler with a twist: victory is measured not in floors cleared, but in loot hauled home. Players explore handcrafted dungeons filled with treasure, traps, and creatures with their own opinions about your cart. Goblins will pilfer from it when your back is turned; slimes will swallow your most valuable finds whole — unless you happen to have salt on you. New tools unlock access to deeper areas — Metroidvania-style — while your cart’s limited space turns every run into an inventory puzzle: what fits? What’s most valuable? Do you push your luck and go one room deeper?
The game blends the interconnected exploration of a Metroidvania with the satisfying optimization of a packing puzzle, wrapped in a warm, hand-drawn art style designed to feel cozy even when the dungeon’s residents are eyeing your inventory.
